Sun Emporium has been involved in the sun protective swimwear industry since 1993 - among the first companies pioneering the concept of sun protection in Asia. Upon returning to Australia in the late 1990's Sun Emporium established an Australian manufacturing base. It was apparent that the need for sun protective clothing was rapidly growing worldwide and that a niche market existed that demanded well-designed and high quality active wear.

By utilising quality Australian resources Sun Emporium was able to offer a custom-made design service to the corporate and tourism markets in the Asia/Pacific region. The commitment to manufacture quality sun protective garments in Australia to a diverse client base worldwide has seen continued expansion for Sun Emporium.

Sun Emporium uses only DUPONT Lycra and is licensed under the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency. Sun Emporium showcases a colourful collection of printed and plain lycra garments with distinctive design features.

Sun Emporium continues to expand with a range of Sun Protective Golf Polo shirts. After listening to many golf enthusiasts voice their concern over lack of sun protective clothing for golf lovers Sun Emporium developed a range of premium golf polo shirts utilising the high performance fabric Coolmax - thus continuing the relationship with DUPONT.

Sun Emporium products are now exported to Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and the United States with the year 2001 seeing expansion into the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
